Presenters

Attorney Karen A. Adamski has worked as Massachusetts Title Counsel for CATIC since 2022. Prior to joining the CATIC team, she operated a solo private practice in Easthampton, Massachusetts where she focused on residential real estate, small estate planning, and probate administration. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Westfield State College, a Master of Business Administration Degree from American International College, and her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law. She is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts and the Hampden County Bar Association. Karen is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

Attorney E. Spencer Ghazey-Bates specializes in elder law, often meeting with both the elders and their children, assisting with financial planning and guidance to secure family assets in the event that an individual needs nursing home care.  Attorney Ghazey-Bates guides families through asset preservation strategies, provides guidance as to available care options, and assists in the preparation of benefit applications.
